‘Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again’ drops on Netflix this August

How can we resist it?

While we’re patiently waiting for the ‘one day‘ drop of Mamma Mia 3, Netflix is gracing us with the franchise’s equally serotonin-inducing sequel ‘Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again’.

According to Netflix PH’s title card, the film is set to drop on the streaming platform this August 8, Saturday.

ICYDK, ‘Mamma Mia’ 2 takes us back in time to Merry Streep’s Donna, as we see the origins of her journey to Greece and how she met Sophie’s (Amanda Seyfried) suspected dads.

The second film sees the return of Seyfried, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgård, Christine Baranski, and Julie Waters. We also meet new characters through the introductions of Lily James and Cher.

Binge-watch this with the original film already on Netflix, and you got yourself an ABBA-tastic movie marathon.
