Sleepless, Gasping for Air, more acclaimed local films are dropping on Netflix

More local viewing

After the hype of last month’s Netflix PH drops, it looks like we’re seeing even more local films on the silver screen this September.

Among the newest films is 2015’s drama ‘Sleepless‘  starring Glaiza de Castro and Dominic Rocco centering around two call center agents who form a bond around their shared insomnia.

Another can’t-miss film is TBA Studios’ ‘1-2-3 – Gasping for Air’  about a young girl named Luis tracking down her brother who’s mysteriously disappeared from their sleepy island of Silag. The film has won a multitude of accolades including Best Actor, Best Director, Best Editing, and Best Cinematography at the 2018 Northern Virginia International Film Festival.

The two entries are set to drop on September 3.

On the international scene, we’re also set to see Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson’s thriller ‘Devil All The Time’ and Millie Bobbie Brown’s Sherlock-spinoff ‘Enola Holmes‘ this month.
