This iconic ‘One-Punch Man’ fight was just perfectly captured in live-action

Live-action adaptations of beloved anime titles are usually a miss, but if we’re judging by this recent clip from RE:Anime, they can actually be pretty awesome when done right.

The YouTube channel posted a fan-made film featuring the iconic duel between the OP Saitama and his apprentice Genos – and it basically a perfect rendition of the original. With the superb effects and on-point action beats, it gives us hope that Hollywood’s attempt at a remake will not be in vain.

If you think this was awesome, RE:Anime also tried their hands at the Zuko vs Azula Agni Kai scene from Avatar: The Last Airbender. It’s a good palate cleanser for that god-awful Shyamalan movie – or the news that the show’s OG creators just ditched Netflix’s live-action take.
