A new Hideo Kojima game is officially happening

After rumors spread of a Junji Ito x Hideo Kojima collab horror video game set to happen soon, it seems as if Kojima Productions is at least confirming a new game sometime soon.

The game master’s official Twitter fueled fans’ interest when they announced that a ‘new project’ based in Tokyo is underway.

‘#KojimaProductions confirms a new project is in development and is looking to hire the best-in-class talent to work out of our Tokyo studio.’

 

Although the Tweet is mum on the details of this so-called project, fans were quick to point out that it comes in light of new game rumors almost a year after ‘Death Stranding‘.

The new project will also serve as the second independent game from the ‘Metal Gear’ creator after parting with Konami in 2015.

Let’s also not forget that Hideo also once shared that he plans to create a ‘revolutionary’ horror game that ‘doesn’t just make you pee your pants, but crap them.’

 

 

Wonder if the name ‘Junji Ito’ will appear soon
