ABS-CBN breaks record for most watched and subscribed YouTube channel in PH

Months after the ABS-CBN closure issue, the media network is now making waves on YouTube as the most subscribed and watched YT channel in the country.
ABS-CBN Entertainment hit the 30-million subscriber mark this week, with its lifetime views bringing in a whopping 38.8 billion views.
Their Entertainment channel showcases a multitude of the network’s content, such as Kapamilya live streams, full Teleserye episodes and recaps, Station IDS, ‘What’s Trending?‘ and more.
Aside from the Entertainment channel, ABS-CBN’s other streams are also among the most subscribed and viewed in the country, such as ABS-CBN News (10.4 million subscribers / 6.6 billion views), Star Music (5.6 million subscribers / 2.3 billion views), ‘Pinoy Big Brother‘ (3.6 million subscribers / two billion views), Star Cinema (3.3 million subscribers / 1.1 billion views), and more.
Since Congress denied ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal in July, the network has been looking into new ways to get content across Filipinos.
Their latest venture back into the airwaves is through the free-to-air ‘A2Z‘ channel 11, which they plan to stream popular shows and movies through.
‘We have no reaction to it because [ABS-CBN is] a content provider. For all intents and purposes, it is Zoe that will be subject to regulation because Zoe is the franchise holder,’ Presidential Spox Harry Roque explained.
