Netflix is rolling out its most *extra* cast yet

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Netflix is going all out for its new comedy film ‘Don’t Look Up’. We dare you to count all of the Oscar wins AND noms between a cast that features the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill, Jennifer Lawrence, Timothée Chalamet, and Himesh Patel.

Oh, and we’re not done. Ariana Grande, Kid Cudi, and Matthew Perry are all set to make cameos. Yes, even the cameos are a bit extra.
Apparently, the story revolves around two low-level scientists (DiCaprio, Lawrence), who go on a media tour to warn the world about a meteor set to hit Earth, only to be met with skepticism.
Given that Leo DiCaprio and director Adam Mckay are huge climate advocates, we could probably expect a bit of a satirical take on the pvblic’s disbelief on well-documented phenomenons. There’s no word yet on a release date, but production is expected to begin by the end of the year.
