Paolo Contis has us torn between having kids or not

As a guy who is in his late 20s, the idea of fatherhood has slowly crept up on me. Will the concept of settling down ever be an entertaining prospect? Is raising kids even possible in this economy? What type of fun liberties would I have to give up?

Paolo Contis lowkey answered that last question with his recent post, where he shared that he missed out on the NBA Finals due to his daughter, Summer. Apparently, the one-year-old preferred seeing Frozen over the LA Lakers beating the Miami Heat. Go figure.

Now, as with the majority of Filipinos, basketball is sacred for me. It’s practically a way of life, so trading Lebron for an annoying singing snowman would be blasphemous – almost a definite dealbreaker to the idea of having kids.

But whenever see I see the same father and daughter duo bond over acting lessons or learning the difference between hands and a deed, it just melts my heart to the point that, yes, maybe one day I’ll also have my own adorable mini-me.

Maraming ang nagisip kung kinurot ko ba si Summer (kahit hindi naman) sa dati naming workshop kaya siya umiyak ng malakas! Kaya nag workshop kami ulit at tinuro ko sa kanya na sa acting, minsan dapat quiet lang iyak! Para mas ramdam! Tingnan niyo to! Ready na siya!

Sunday is study day para sa amin ni Summer.. Kasi yung 6 days si @lj_reyes ang taga turo! kailangan ko na yata ibahin ang curriculum ko! Masyadong matalino tong batang to! Kung anu ano nakikita!
