Bong Revilla wants to send you Christmas cheer in new station ID

It’s the holidays, apparently

In case you thought Bong Revilla and his PHP 124.5M plunder case was out of your life forever, the senator now wants to send everyone some Christmas cheer. The holidays are a time for forgiveness, right?

GMA 7’s 2020 Christmas Station ID does just that, as Revilla joins fellow GMA personalities and journalists in uplifting Filipinos with the station theme ‘Isang Puso Ngayong Pasko’.

We can spot the politician for a few seconds (3:02 – 3:04) during the 7-minute long video opening a holiday card beside a decorated Christmas tree. How festive.

 

ICYDK, Revilla was criticized back in 2019 for trying to make an acting comeback through GMA’s drama series ‘The Gift‘. His lasting acting stint since then was 2014’s ‘Kap’s Amazing Stories’ – before, you know, being acquitted of plunder.

‘Haters are going to hate, and bashers are going to bash,’ Revilla said to critics in a statement.

‘The truth is out there and it is their choice to side with lies and falsehood. Sino ang may problema? Not me.’

Nonetheless, GMA’s Christmas ID has a good message overall. In times like these, it’s important that we don’t lose heart, keep each other close, and not misallocate pvblic funds.
