Filipinos wrongly flooded a band named ‘Converge’ to complain about the internet

Because Filipinos will apparently take any chance they get to troll, American-band ‘Converge‘ is now the subject of heated complaints about our internet connection… because, you know, the name and all that.

After a bunch of angry Filipinos took to the band’s comments section to roast/troll, the musicians were in good spirits to correct that they were, in fact, an actual band rather than a customer service rep.

‘Hey everyone… still just a hardcore band over here. Covid has not forced us to become an internet provider in the Philippines yet, but we hope everyone over there gets their internet access back,’ they captioned.

‘While you’re here though click the link to our webstore and grab yourself a cool T-shirt or something.’

Despite the ironic rage comments that Converge posted, some Filipinos seem to be in on the joke themselves, assuring the band that it’s all in good classically Pinot online fun.

We’re all crazy here, don’t worry.

 

 

 

 

This wouldn’t be the first time that Filipinos flooded a legit Facebook page just to mess around, as a similar instance happened a few months back when the official Harvard University Facebook was flooded with faux-memories of so-called PH alumnis.

That time though, Harvard didn’t come out with a responding statement.
