Apple’s New Products From The Spring Loaded Event Are Here To Empty Your Bank Accounts

Another year, another budol purchase from Apple.

Apple held an online live steam affair called the Spring Loaded event on April 20, their first biggest launch for 2021. CEO Tim Cook opened the event by sharing the tech giant’s effort in their environmental commitments in relation to Earth Day. He then proceeded to exciting updates and announcements.

Below, we rounded up the main highlights about the innovations set to launch later this month (and help you justify your purchase if you have plans on splurging!)

iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini’s purple colorway entered the chat

Apple

Entering the iPhone lineup is the purple color option for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini. It features a Super Retina XDR display with OLED and an advanced dual-camera system. This is a new addition to the existing green, white, blue, and red colorways. Because it’s essential for us to have a new color option, right?

iMac Desktop Computers get a makeover too

Apple

Not only do their iPhones come in bright colors, but their all-new desktop computers are joining the colorway party as well. The colors range from silver, yellow, purple, green, pink, orange, and blue. The new ultra-sleek desktop computer features a 24-inch, 4.5 retina display. It has a Touch ID keyboard, six-speaker sound system, color-matching Magic Mouse, and macOS Big Sur, a big plus in editing photos and videos. Also, did we mention that it has a 1080p FaceTime HD Camera which gives you no excuse to ditch your Zoom meeting.

iPad Pro is not getting a new colorway, but it has an M1 Chip!

Apple

Even if the iPad Pro is not getting a new set of hues, you now have the option to grab a white Magic Keyboard apart from the original black version. The device is making a breakthrough now that it also has an M1 Chip and a new 16-core Apple Neural Engine. It also boasts a 16Gb of memory and a 2TB capacity. Additionally, you won’t have a hard time switching cords since it upgraded to Thunderbolt 4 from USB-C.

AirTags collab with Hermès for some boujee straps

Apple
Apple

Described as a Bluetooth-operated tracking device, Apple AirTags are made to track items, not people. Apple partners with luxury fashion house Hermès to create chic leather straps for the device. The lightweight device also claims to be water and dust-resistant. You can connect it to the Apple FindMy app and track the item you attached it to. We finally have the solution for us not to lose the other half of our AirPods!

Apple TV 4K and Siri Remote will elevate your ordinary living room space

Apple

Apple revealed the design for its new Apple TV 4K with an A12 bionic chip that claims to bring in a massive upgrade for your TV. It also features Dolby Vision giving us realistic colors and vivid graphics. You can also connect your AirPods, use Apple Workout, Apple Arcade, and more. The Siri Remote has an aluminum enclosure that features five-way navigation and has a touch enable function for a faster way to choose what show you want to watch next.
