Love, Death & Robots VOL. 2 teases a more intimate tone for the series
ICYMI, the trailer for the second season of Love, Death & Robots just dropped – and it surprisingly teases a more intimate take for the anthology series. Whereas the first volume promised an edgy, chaotic tone for its collection of short stories, the follow-up seems to convey a sense of wonder, depth, and drama this time around.
Sure, it still features poop jokes, gore, and mature themes in a variety of ever-so-stunning art styles, but Season 2’s scope and score make it feel like Pixar’s older brother. Still, given that this is still Love, Death & Robots, I’m prepared to have my expectations subverted and emotions wrecked.
Love, Death & Robots Season 2 drops on May 14, with a Season 3 teased for a 2022 release.
