‘Rak of Aegis’ will soon stream online

Heads up, theater geeks! Per TheaterFansManila, the highly-acclaimed Filipino musical Rak of Aegis will soon be available to stream online on a pay-per-view basis. The production will stream on ticket2me.net on two weekends: July 31, August 1, and August 7 & 8.

Produced by PETA Theatre, Rak of Aegis follows a girl named Eileen, who aspires to achieve Internet fame in hopes of escaping poverty with her family. Included in the story are residents of the flood-submerged Barangay Venizia, who also have their own grievances and aspirations.

The musical, which features songs from real-life 90’s band Aegis, was a certified hit, running for 7 seasons from 2014-2019. Throughout its run, it has had a star-studded cast, such as Pepe Herrera, Kim Molina, Jerald Napoles, Aicelle Santos, and Kakai Bautista.
