Lorde has risen, and her fans have come to stan
It’s been about four years since Lorde released Melodrama, and two things remain the same: the songs from that album still slaps, and fans have been wanting new music. However, the long wait is over because she’s about to drop a single, as announced on her official website.
The upcoming single titled “Solar Power” came with a cover that shows Lorde having a hot girl summer by showing off her peach. The photo on the website was also paired with a caption screaming in all caps, ‘ARRIVING IN 2021…PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE.’
Well, fans would need all the patience they have since things are getting exciting.
Twitter went wild as Lorde is the number one trending topic in the country as of writing. Fellow singers like Troye Sivan even greeted the pop star with a ‘good morning’, hinting at the much awaited return of the singer.
Other Lorde stans couldn’t contain themselves and expressed their feelings with, of course, memes. One showed Pepe The Frog scrambling on the floor, another shared how they already finished high school until the singer released new music, and a user even joked about her comeback vs. a photo of the Resurrection of Jesus.
