BLACKPINK’s Lisa hypes up fans with the tracklist of her solo debut album
BLACKPINK has already made countless tracks that have made their fans, a.k.a. blinks, sing and dance. But one member owning the spotlight at the moment is Lisa. With her solo debut album set to drop on September 10, the singer hyped up people even more by releasing the full tracklist.
The upcoming album LALISA contains only two songs as it opens with a first track of the same name, written by TEDDY, and Bekuh BOOM. The next one is called Money, which is also written by the same American songwriter together with THEBLACKLABEL’s Vince. Both songs are composed and arranged by 24, with R.Tee helping with the second one.
Aside from having two songs, the album will also contain instrumental versions of each one. The tracklist cover shows a dark photo of Lisa in a motorbike helmet. YG Entertainment described LALISA to have “dynamic rhythm and melody, along with powerful rap verses.”
‘As the album title ‘Lalisa’ suggests, you will feel Lisa’s true and natural charms differentiated from her past activities,’ YG Entertainment commented on the album. ‘Please look forward to Lisa surpassing herself as it is a project that has been prepared for a long time with great effort.’
Lisa’s debut marks as the third solo project for each of BLACKPINK’s members. The first to put out her own individual album is Jennie with SOLO in 2018, and Rosé with R earlier in March this year. Ahead of the release, the singer already released a couple of visual teasers to give the listeners a visual feel of what they’re about to experience.
