Three PH companies named as 2021’s ‘best employers’ by Forbes

Out of the many things that have been hard to maintain during the pandemic is securing a stable job. In the 2021 Forbes World’s Best Employers list, only three companies from the Philippines made it. The local firms include Jollibee Food Corp. at 256th place, Ayala Corp. at 487th place, and Aboitiz Equity Ventures at 665th place.

Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to determine the best workplaces for this year. They surveyed 150,000 full-time and part-time employees from 58 countries working for multinational companies. The participants were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers and assessed other employers in their respective industries.

Target’s vice president of talent acquisition Damu McCoy shared that he first joined as an intern nearly 30 years ago. He shared, ‘You don’t stay just because you get your paycheck. You stay because you’re inspired by the people you work around, you believe in the organization’.
