Discover your personal 2021 movie soundtrack with Spotify Wrapped

2021 is coming to a close and you can’t help but look back on both the good and bad memories that happened throughout the year. While there’s a lot to look back at, Spotify Wrapped has got it covered when it comes to your music and podcast activity. You’ll be surprised at how you might have spent over a thousand minutes listening to one song.

Listeners can see their annual Wrapped as the platform compiles their audio data and presents it to them in a highly enjoyable way. It’s sparked by the millions of “weird and wonderful ways” that people listened to this year, including the creators who made it possible.

Spotify said in a release, ‘In a world that continues to keep us on our toes, the 2021 Wrapped experience is full of the known and unknown, with fan-favorite experiences mixing with surprising new ones that connect listeners with each other and their favorite creators.’

Apart from giving the rundown on the listener’s top artists, genres, songs, and podcasts and the minutes listened, the personalized Wrapped experience also has new features that would keep you entertained:

-2021: The Movie – This feature combines your top songs with classic scenes from a movie that’s all about you.
-Your Audio Aura – Spotify literally hired an aura expert to help you picture your “audio aura” based on your top two music moods.
-Playing Cards – You’ll see several statements about your listening this year and you’ll have to guess which are true. Bonus: you can post it and make your friend guess!
-2021 Wrapped Blend – You can see how your 2021 music tastes match up with friends, stream your blended playlist, and share your results on other social media pages.

Once listeners viewed all the new prompts, they can check out playlists titled Your Top Songs 2021 or Your Artists Revealed and see a special surprise. Over 170 creators made a quick video, which fans can see if those participating artists made the cut in someone’s playlist. Listeners will also get to hear ‘thank you’ messages from their fave podcast hosts when they visit the show’s profile.
