VP Leni was in her ‘vlogger era’ during Jillian’s NYU graduation
Outgoing Vice President Leni Robredo flew to New York City for Jillian’s New York University graduation. Her youngest daughter’s ceremony will be held at the Yankee Stadium on May 18, where Taylor Swift is expected to address the class of 2022.
VP Leni’s two older daughters, Aika and Tricia, occasionally posted on their Instagram Stories, where the 2022 presidential candidate can be seen being a stage mom to Jillian and is also in her “vlogger era” as she took snapshots around the city.
On Instagram, VP Leni posted a photo of Jillian during the Baccalaureate. She said that her daughter was “wearing what matters most.” The post’s caption elaborated, ‘A pendant containing her Papa’s ashes, her graduation stole with the colors of the Philippine flag and her Rosas pin.’
Jillian a.k.a. the “favorite anak” took up a double degree in Economics and Mathematics, under a full scholarship.

Before their departure, VP Leni posted a statement on Facebook and explained that they will have “a well deserved rest” before they go back to their usual day-to-day. She said, ‘This is the first time since my husband died in 2012 that we will be travelling again as a family with no work to take care of.‘
VP Leni clarified that she will still be on top of the preparations for the launch of Angat Buhay NGO. She added, ‘The entire OVP Family is making all the preparations for the official turnover of the office to the duly elected 15th Vice President.’
