BLACKPINK will make a ‘comeback’ in your area

It has been almost two years since BLACKPINK released their record called The Album. But the long wait for new music is over since the K-pop girl group is making a comeback. Yup, fans a.k.a. Blinks will get to hear catchy tracks and dance along to fresh moves again.

YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK’s agency, confirmed on July 6 that the ensemble is set to return in August. Apart from being in the “final stages” of recording another album, they are also set to film a music video in the middle of this month.

According to SBS News, YG Entertainment expressed, ‘A lot of music in BLACKPINK’s style has been prepared with much effort for a long time.’

‘BLACKPINK will also embark on the largest-ever world tour for a K-pop girl group by the end of this year alongside the comeback, in order to expand their communication and interaction with fans all around the world,’ the agency added.

The girls were busy with their individual projects during their hiatus as a group. Rosé and Lisa released their solo albums, which topped music charts internationally. Jennie has been making a splash in her Calvin Klein campaigns. Meanwhile, Jisoo starred in the popular K-Drama Snowdrop.

BLACKPINK’s comeback surely got people excited as they trended on Twitter after the announcement.
