Rakrakan Festival 2023 postponed due to weather conditions

The organizers behind the 2023 Rakrakan Festival have announced the event’s postponement due to unforeseen circumstances due to impending weather conditions.

The music festival was initially slated for June 10 and 11 at Clark Global City, but in anticipation of the weather, the event will be moved to a later date as the overall experience—the camping and outdoor activities—could be significantly impacted.

“As an event centered around the theme of Peace, Love, & Music, the safety and well-being of our attendees, artists, and staff are of utmost importance to us. The weather forecast indicates a substantial risk of adverse conditions, including heavy rains and strong winds, that could pose potential safety hazards,” the announcement read.

“In light of these concerns, we believe rescheduling the event is the responsible course of action to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.”

Those that purchased tickets will still be able to use them for the rescheduled Rakrakan Festival date. Meanwhile, ticket buyers that won’t be able to attend the new schedule anymore can request a refund.

A new date for the festival has yet to be announced.
