IKEA is dropping a streetwear collection
Ngl, these look like a must-cop
Per Complex, IKEA is venturing into the merch business for the first time in its history. The Swedish brand will launch a streetwear line that features a t-shirt and hoodie, as well as other items such as an umbrella, tote bags, bath towels, water bottles, and more.
The EFTERTRÄDA collection is a collaboration between IKEA Sweden and its regional outlet in Japan. EFTERTRÄDA means ‘successor’, as the collab marks the brand’s first project outside of the furniture industry.
As of writing, the collection is exclusive to IKEA Harajuku in Shibuya City, Tokyo from July 31 to August 6. There is hope for a global release, so here’s wishing it’s available once IKEA Philippines opens sometime in 2021.
