Hey late night binge-watchers, UP now offers a class on K-drama analysis

The University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman is offering an online class perfect for those kept up late at night with their Korean drama (K-Drama) binge-watching.

Per a photo posted in the Facebook group ‘Narinig Ko Sa UP‘, the special class is officially titled ‘Special Topics: Analysis of K-drama Series‘ under UPD’s College of Mass Communication.

The lucky students on the class list apparently need to first watch the 3 popular K-drama series ‘Crash Landing on You’ (CLOY), ‘Chicago Typewriter’, and ‘Misaeng‘.

Like any online class, the enrolees need a stable internet connection, access to video conference apps, a gadget, and – you know – to actually be enrolled in UP-Diliman through their University Virtual Learning Environment.

‘You may start watching the three kdrama series enumerated. This course is open to all colleges,’ the course description reads.

The class has a limited slot of only 25 students, but over 200 people are awaiting enlistment under UP’s Computerized Registration System (CRS) website. Talk about a packed class list.
