Keanu Reeves says he would’ve loved to play as Wolverine

He might already have iconic roles such as Neo from The Matrix and the undying John Wick, but if Keanu Reeves had it his way, he would’ve loved to make his mark as a superhero as well.

Keanu revealed on the SiriusXM radio show that he would’ve been up to play as Marvel’s Wolverine, a role that went to Hugh Jackman back in 2000. Alex Winter, Keanu’s co-star in their new movie ‘Bill & Ted Face the Music’, got our hopes up when he quipped ‘it’s not too late. It’s not too late for Keanu to play Wolverine. I’m just gonna leave that’.

‘It’s too late. I’m all good with it now’ countered Keanu. So much for our hopes and dreams.

Still, anything is possible. At age 55, with a couple more John Wick sequels in store, we’re thinking Keanu has enough left in the tank to crank out a berserker rage or two should he want to.
