Studio Ghibli drops 300 more free HD movie stills

More desktop choices

A month after releasing 400 free images for fans, Studio Ghibli is adding even more HD stills from their wide filmography.

Ghibli’s newest selection are 50 stills from 6 of their films, namely ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’, ‘Princess Mononoke’, ‘The Cat Returns’, ‘Whisper of the Heart’, ‘Ghiblies Episode 2’, and ‘My Neighbours the Yamadas’.

With the latest addition, the Japanese studio now has a total of 14 films with free HD images, as fans can switch wallpapers and simply admire the hand-drawn artistry to their heart’s content.

The Whisper of the Heart (1995)

 

Princess Mononoke (1997)

The Cat Returns (2002)

Ghiblies Episode 2 (2002)

My Neighbors The Yamadas (2002)

Howl’s Moving Castle (2004)

Similar to its old terms, Studio Ghibli made the images available only for personal downloads such as for desktops or wallpapers, as they refrain from people using it for unauthorized commercial use.
