Apparently, K-Pop stans are down to spend almost PHP 70,000 on their idols

<B> BTS’ Army overtakes BLINKS, Once with the most fandom purchases </b>

It’s the dedication for me

A study from online shopping company iPrice has found that K-Pop stans can spend as much as $1,422, or PHP 69,404.18, on merch from their idols. Talk about utter devotion.

iPrice got their info from international K-merch music stores KTown4U.com, CDJapan.co.jp, Target.com, and YGex.jp – with the BTS fandom (ARMY) beating out Twice fans (Once), and Blackpink stans (Blinks) in terms of fan sales.

Based on sales of merch, albums/EPs, and live concert tickets, a Once can spend as much as $824, or PHP 39,659.53, on the 9-piece girl group. Meanwhile, Blinks come in third with an average fan spending of $665, or PHP 32,004.46 for the Lovesick Girls.

Though BLACKPINK undoubtedly has a bigger fanbase than Twice, iPrice attributes their lower sales due to the fact that BP is a much newer girl group, since they only made their debut in 2016.

The amount of money K-Pop fans spend on their idols.

Meanwhile, the Grammy-nominated BTS takes the top spot in all three categories, as their fans can spend an average of $545 (PHP 26,500) on merch, $541 (PHP 26,000) on concerts, and $336 (PHP 16,000) on albums/EPs.

With Korean groups offering a variety of interesting merch like light sticks, fan cards, and beautifully detailed albums, it’s no wonder stans are shelling out just to get More and More of their idols.

Guess you can put a price on loyalty
