COMELEC voters’ registration form is now online

Presence is still required tho

The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has launched iRehistro, a go-to site where you can fill out necessary forms for the upcoming 2022 elections.

Rather than printing out the paperwork, you can simply fill out the digital forms on the site. However, you’d still need to visit the nearest COMELEC office to register your biometrics and make the registration official. Hey, whatever it takes to quicken the process.

‘Take note that using this online facility only attempts to facilitate the process of accomplishment of the Application Form’ COMELEC reminds on the website.

‘It DOES NOT automatically mean approval of your application. Accomplishing the online form does not automatically make you a registered voter.’

The site asks applications to fill out their personal information, such as citizenship details and residency data. The option to set an appointment with local COMELEC offices is also provided once the form is completed.

iRehistro also holds other important forms such as transfer of registration record, voters’ record reactivation, change/correction of registration name, and inclusion of records in the book of voters/reinstatement in the list of voters.

COMELEC officies are open from Mondays to Thursdays, 8 AM to 3 PM. For the complete process, read our guide on how to become a registered voter… so the registration process can hopefully improve.
