5 feels from that surreal Manila Grey x James Reid MV

ICYMI, Fil-Canadian duo Manila Grey and James Reid just blessed us with an MV for their new single Backhouse Ballin’. A collab made in pop heaven, the pair bop their way onto their definition of a good life: Ferraris, champagne bottles, lots of greens, and of course, a great girl.

Backhouse Ballin’ is just one of Neeko and Soliven’s 13 singles from their upcoming album, No Saints on Knight Street, which drops on March 26.

Key takeaways from the MV:

  1. Director Brandon William Fletcher really captured the laid-back and high-class vibes of Manila Grey, from the neon lights, surrealist effects, and seamless portal transitions of the main dancer.
  2. Speaking of the main dancer, she killed it. Those are some smooth moves.
  3. I wish I looked as fresh as everyone in this MV during my late-night escapades, and not as someone who missed out on 6 hours of sleep.
  4. James Reid as the Hindu god of pop R&B is something we can totally get on.
  5. Backhouse Ballin’ makes me want to reach top speeds on Skyway, under the bright city lights, on my non-existent sports car.
