ICYMI: OC Records artists came together for a night of music and stories

ICYMI, OC Records hosted an online concert that was part somber retrospective, part music celebration. Called Odd Creatures Our Cue, the nearly 2-hour stream saw OC artists reflect on an industry absent of gigs as well as the hindrance of creating music in quarantine.

But while eye-opening, the online concert also shared a vibrant glimpse into the personalities and talents of the label’s roster, which include Kean Cipriano, Unique Salonga, mimiyuuuh, Glaiza De Castro, Dora Dorado, Patty Tiu, Project Moonman, Earl Generao, Rice Lucido, Frizzle Anne, Zsaris, Martin Riggs, Cean Jr., Adie, Aly Remulla, and Eugene Layug.

It’s the diverse nature of OC’s lineup, which features radio jocks, DJs, folk artists, and pop singers, that fuels the pride, passion, and vision of founders Kean Cipriano and Chynna Ortaleza.

‘We’re happy that in a span of 3 years, we’re able to build this distinct roster, this crazy platform where artists can just be themselves.’, said Kean.

‘Hindi nila kailagangan sumabay sa dinidikta nang panahon. Kung ano yung uso…They are free to share stories that they want or need to share.’
