Netflix is dropping around 40 anime titles in 2021

If you’re an anime lover AND a serial Netflix binge-watcher, we’re happy to let you know that you’re about to get the best of both worlds.

The streaming giant revealed in its annual AnimeJapan Expo that it’s set to drop around 40 new original anime titles this 2021 – more than double the number of the previous year’s.

The currently announced shows include Record of Ragnarok (June), The Way of the Househusband (April 8), Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness (TBA), Yasuke (April 29), and Eden (May 27). Anime continues to be a strong point for Netflix, with 100 million households reportedly having watched the genre at least once in 2020.
