Rak of Aegis reveals the cast for their online stream

Watching live musicals sound like a thing of the past now that everything has changed. Luckily for theatre enthusiasts, the stage is yours to watch online. Following the announcement of its steaming dates, look no further since Rak of Aegis they already dropped the schedules.

PETA’s Rak of Aegis is coming to your screens for two weekends on July 31 and August 1, 7, & 8. Tickets will be on sale starting May 7 via ticket2me.net. The production will be a recorded performance from the show’s latest run.

In line with the Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino (LMP) 2021 celebration, this online initiative highlights the #TakePETAbeyondCOVID campaign. This fundraising event aims to support PETA’s survival during this unprecedented time.

The Rak of Aegis streaming cast includes Aicelle Santos (Aileen), Pepe Herrera (Tolits), Poppert Bernadas (Kenny), Isay Alvarez-Seña (Mary Jane), Robert Seña (Kiel), Joann Co (Mercy), Jimi Marquez (Jewel), and Gie Onida (Fernan). Joining them are members of the ensemble, John Moran, Matel Patayon, Marynor Madamesila, Lemuel Silvestre, Teetin Villanueva, and Rafael Sudayan.

Rak of Aegis is a musical that follows the story of Aileen, a young woman who has big dreams of making it big on YouTube. As she goes on the journey of achieving her goals, she gets caught up in the position of helping her barangay combat health hazards and livelihood conditions amidst unceasing flood water.

‘This streaming is available globally, so anybody from anywhere in the world can watch this proudly Pinoy musical!’ PETA President CB Garrucho says as per Theater Fans Manila. ‘Every ticket sold helps us gather funds to sustain our operational funds and activities so that in turn, we can give more jobs to our artists, teachers, and production and technical staff.’

For the viewers who want to extend their help to PETA, they accept additional donations through www.ticket2me.net for donations PHP 500 and above. They also accept donations via PETA’s GCash account.
