Lorde has a song about getting stoned at a nail salon
Good timing was on Lorde’s side when she shared the release date of her new album during the summer solstice. While different cultures commemorate it through singing, dancing, fire, and other golden ways, she celebrated it by announcing that her album will finally drop on August 20.
After over a week since the release of her latest music video, Lorde unveiled a tracklist of the 12 songs for her Solar Power album:

A few song titles like Stoned in the Nail Salon, Big Star, and Oceanic Feeling give out the same fresh summer energy from when she teased her title track. The new tracklist contrasts her 2017 release Melodrama which leans towards heartbreaks and the deeper side of things.
In the meantime, the Philippines isn’t included on the list of places that Lorde will perform at for the first leg of the Solar Power Tour. To give her audience an idea, she described it as having an intimate feel, ‘Theatres and green fields rather than arenas. So you gotta get in there if you really wanna go.’
While you’re waiting for a tour date in the country, maybe some vinyl records can temporarily suffice. Lorde also added an option for her fans to get a “music box,” ‘It’ll be the same size and shape as a CD, and you can buy it where CDs live, but this is something totally different… You’ll know more about this very soon.’
There is also an array of Solar Power merch that ranges from shirts, sweaters, caps, and water bottles that are exclusively available for pre-order on her website.
