Scooby Doo and Courage the Cowardly Dog are having a crossover
Ever imagined hearing the phrase ‘Stupid dog, you made us look bad!’ and Scooby Doo’s quirky laugh in one movie? The inner child in you must be screaming since the trailer for Straight Outta Nowhere: Scooby Doo Meets Courage the Cowardly Dog was released today.
The Warner Bros. movie centers around two of the iconic cartoon canines, Scooby Doo and Courage. The trailer opens with the Mystery Machine van drifting as Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, and Fred were on the way to find their dog.
For some reason, Scooby was seemingly running away from something and bumped into Courage in the middle of Nowhere – which is just in the backwoods hometown of the later’s owners, Eustace and Muriel Bagge.
‘The mysterious discovery puts them on the trail of a giant cicada monster and her wacky winged warriors,’ The movie trailer’s description explained.
‘[The film] is definitely going to trigger acute nostalgia for those of us who grew up watching both Scooby-Doo and Courage shows, and it will also bring these wonderful characters to a new generation of viewers,’ said the director and producer of the movie Cecilia Aranovich, in a statement.
While waiting for the chance to stream the movie digitally or go old-school and buy a DVD on September 14, the movie’s trailer is free to watch below.
