These EDSA billboards urge the public to ‘Brake For Animals’

What would animals say if they could talk? While there isn’t a definite answer, you could consider PAWSsion Project‘s campaign: Brake For Animals and Be Kind To All Animals. These statements can be seen on EDSA billboards and serve as a reminder for drivers and motorists to drive carefully for their own welfare and the strays.

PAWSsion Project, a non-profit organization, partnered with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), Jag Jeans, and City Advertising Ventures for their campaign to come to life.

The campaign also serves as a huge initiative for advocates who hear about countless reports of hit and run cases of animals on the daily, as explained in the organization’s Instagram post.

Malou Perez, the organization’s founder, acknowledged those who supported their campaign in a separate post. She then talked about the strays featured on the billboard, ‘So proud of my Don Charlie, Lolo Charlie who is a hit and run victim himself, and friends for representing their fellow rescues well!’

‘They deserve to be heard,’ Perez added.

In line with the campaign, PAWSsion Project aims to inspire people to treat voiceless animals with kindness. The organization shared that little things matter such as feeding strays and pets alike. It also encourages people to be responsible pet owners and rescuers.

May this encourage more people to adopt and foster… We can all do something,’ the post stated.
