This couple has the greatest height difference on record

People usually have standards when it comes to dating, and sometimes a person’s height is something to consider. In the case of this married couple James and Chloe Lusted, height didn’t play a big role. They even earned the Guinness World Record’s title for the greatest height differential of a married couple between different sexes.

Chloe stands 166.1cm (5ft 5.4in), while her husband being 109.3 (3ft 7in). The two have a height difference of 56.8cm or almost 2 ft (1ft, 10 in).

They currently reside in the United Kingdom, where James is an actor and a TV presenter, and Chloe works as a teacher.

‘My usual type would be a tall guy. I don’t think you can choose who you fall in love with,’ Chloe said in the GWR video.

James explained that he had Diastrophic Dysplasia, which is one of the rarest types of dwarfism. It’s described as “a genetic disorder that affects bones and cartilage development.”

Due to his medical condition, James didn’t expect marriage to be in his cards. However, fast forward to the present day, he has been married to Chloe since 2016, and they now have a two-year-old daughter.

‘I came to a point where I had to say to myself that dwarfism doesn’t own me, I own my dwarfism,’ James explained. ‘I just wanted to be the same as everyone else and live my life in a big way, in a little body.’
