This iPod Classic web player can play your Spotify music
Remember those days when you listened to Payphone by Maroon 5 or 12:51 by Krissy & Ericka? Or any song from about a decade ago, for that matter. You might have even played it in your good ol’ iPod Classic, which you can revive (kinda) through a virtual web player that emulates it.
A frontend developer named Tanner Villarete created a webpage that displays an iPod Classic with its iconic click wheel function. You can use a mouse or your finger on a touchscreen to navigate it.
For its main purpose, you can play music by connecting an Apple Music or Spotify Account. The virtual iPod even shows the OG Cover Flow interface that shows an array of album covers from your playlists.
Apart from playing music, it also brings back the built-in Brick game. Although playing it by using a mouse might feel dragging due to its virtual circle interface.
To complete the whole iPod Classic feel, you can also choose a device theme that comes in Silver, Black, and U2 Edition.
Using the web player might feel useless to others since there are many ways to stream music at present, but it’s a great way to revive memories if you’re in for the nostalgic feels.
