Make Duterte’s last SONA bearable with this drinking game

Ladies and gents, we didn’t think we would ever make it, but here we are. Today, July 26, marks the last State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Rodrigo Duterte. Six years of curses, sadboi antics, and Chinese subservience have led to this.

And as per tradition, we will need something to make the next hours-long rant a little bit more bearable. Parody page Malacañang Events and Catering Services has delivered yet again with a drinking game – and it’s as daunting as ever.

Dull your disappointments with a shot for every p*tang ina and pagod na ako, a drink for every suck-up to Beijing or criticism of human rights groups, and down the entire bottle for each jab at VP Leni Robredo or a lowkey plug for Sara Duterte’s presidential aspirations.

If the past SONA iterations are any basis, we can expect symptoms of alcohol poisoning and liver failure in the first 30 minutes. Kidding aside, we’re at least hoping this SONA could knock us out until next year’s elections when we can finally do something about this sh*tstorm.
