This Filipino performer did an epic levitation act for America’s Got Talent
You’ve probably seen circus tricks in movies or your town’s local peryahan. Their feats involve cards and maybe even juggling dramatic objects. Ehrlich “Firechill” Ocampo, a Filipino circus performer, presented a more complex stunt when he auditioned for America’s Got Talent (AGT).
Ocampo presented a leviwand act for his performance, which is when one manipulates an object for it to appear like it’s levitating. He used a glowing hula hoop and wands for props, as seen on AGT’s early release video.

‘I gave up everything to pursue my performing,’ Ocampo shared to judges Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell. He was asked why he decided to join AGT and why he thought it was the right time.
‘People thought I was crazy. I didn’t think I’ll make it here. But my friends and family, they supported me and they inspired me to fight. I am here fighting for myself, my family, my friends, my community, my country,’ he added.
Ocampo’s full audition premieres on July 14, 8 AM on NBC. Watch a short part of his performance below.
