You can now vibe to Barack Obama’s 2021 summer playlist

Even when there were a few rainy days this month, there’s no denying that the constant heat feels like summer stayed longer than expected. To keep you company, Spotify dropped the annual playlist curated by the U.S.A.’s former President Barack Obama.

Barack Obama’s 2021 Summer Playlist opens with Jazmine Sullivan’s Pick Up Your Feelings. R&B queens like Rihanna and SZA are among the other female artists who land the list. He also included tracks from The Rolling Stone, Bob Dylan, and Louis Armstrong. 

Obama even tweeted the list himelf and said that it’s fit for getting together with friends and family. He stated, ‘Here’s a playlist of songs I’ve been listening to lately—it’s a mix of old and new, household names and emerging artists, and a whole lot in between.’

‘I sing in the shower, I sing outside of the shower. I am unembarrassed about singing,’ Obama shared on the Renegades: Born in the USA podcast in March. ‘My daughters and my wife sometimes roll their eyes.’
