Netflix parody site ‘Nestflix’ shows mock-ups of movies and series
Most people have already binge-watched countless programs on Netflix. But have you ever heard of the parody site called ‘Nestflix’? Yup, that exists. It’s a satirical counterpart of the popular streaming giant that showcases ‘nested’ films and shows.
Once you enter the parody site, it welcomes you with the words that read, ‘Fictional movies within movies? Got ‘em. Fake shows within shows? You bet. Browse our selection of over 400 stories within stories.’
The brains behind the platform Lynn Fisher announced Nestflix’s launch on Wednesday. She also posted follow-up tweets showing a few of the mock-up shows that you can browse on the site. Some of the examples are Angels and Filthy Souls from Home Alone, Duck-tective from Gravity Falls, and Sunrise Bay from Schitt’s Creek.
‘P.S. Please don’t send me a cease and desist! It’s just a wiki doing some cosplay’, added Fisher.
Launch day! Are you like me and love a fake movie within a movie? Or show within a show?
Check out Nestflix: the only platform for your favorite nested films and tv shows.

However, all the movies and shows on the parody platform are purely fictional, so you can’t actually watch them. But you can see curated movie posters, read their plots, check out which program they originally appeared in, and view a few stills. There is also a functional ‘search’ and ‘contribute’ button, where you can fill out suggestions and ideas.
Nestflix’s listings also include Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Entourage, Toy Story, Community, and many others. Explore the website when you click here.
