HONNE’s upcoming album will make you feel ‘kilig’ even if you’re single

There’s always room for new music in everyone’s playlist, and HONNE’s third studio album Let’s Just Say The World Ended A Week From Now, What Would You Do? is ready to find a place in yours when it launches on Friday, October 22. The British duo James Hatcher and Andy Clutterbuck narrate different stories through the themes that they know best — love, heartbreak, and other things that revolve around it.

HONNE already released all of its collab tracks except for Khalid’s Three Strikes, but it’s definitely worth the wait. Hint: it’s about those lonely thoughts that cross your mind when you’re alone. Meanwhile, Andy’s soothing vocals remain at the center of other songs like Dancing On A Cloud and I’m The Lucky One, both of which turn lyrical cliches into modern love songs that are reminiscent of blissful moments.

The sound of mellow synths that are evocative of their previous works still lingers, but some tracks contain occasional acoustic undertones that make the songs feel like a tight reassuring hug reaching out through your speakers. The 11-track album is eminently uplifting, intimate, and dreamy all at the same time.

2. What Would You Do? feat. Pink Sweat$
3. Now I’m Alone feat. Sofía Valdés

3. Host an online listening party with your friends

Tell your friends to clear their Friday night plans ASAP. Since HONNE’s latest album will be launched that day, you can organize a listening party through Discord, Zoom, or Spotify’s Group Session, where you can collectively express your feels while going through each track.

4. Play a drinking game while you’re at it

Who said you can’t have fun when you throw a listening party online? Make rules of your own, add more, or follow the instructions below:

– Start drinking at the same time when a new song plays
– Take a shot every time a new song with a collab plays
– Take a shot when you think you’ve found your fave track in the album
– Take a shot when Andy sings a line you can relate to
– Take two shots when a song reminds you of someone

5. Send your “end of the world” song to someone

After listening to all 11 songs, you probably have a corresponding answer to the album’s title already. But instead of saying it in your own words, HONNE made it easier since you can just pick a track (or two). Send your chosen song to someone you would consider spending your last moments on Earth with if the world hypothetically ends soon.
