This math teacher posts calculus videos on a porn site for a good cause
Math is arguably the least favorite class of students in school. Some put in extra hours just to understand it, while others turn to private tutors just to pass the subject. As unconventional as it may sound, you can also learn about numbers from a Taiwanese man who posts calculus-related videos on an adult video platform.
The 34-year-old teacher goes by the name Chunghsu, who happens to have a master’s degree in mathematics and has been practicing for 15 years. He gives lectures in school and online, which led to him posting math content on Pornhub under the username changshumath666. His profile banner also has a tagline that reads, “Play hard, study hard!”
However, Chunghsu is doing it for a noble reason. The goal is to direct viewers to sign up for his online course, which helps him earn over $250,000 (approximately P12,691,625) in a year. He then uses the funds to pay his staff and produce all the NSFW-free math videos.
In an interview with Mel Magazine, Changhsu shared that he also tried posting math lessons on other adult websites but he explained that “those platforms know which kinds of videos are adult and which aren’t, and they forbid them.” He suspects that 60% or more of his viewers visit his Pornhub channel for a laugh instead of learning calculus.
‘People may not be interested in my videos, but they’ll all know there’s a teacher who teaches calculus on an adult video platform,’ he added.
The educator’s porn site seems accepted by the community given that his account has a verified checkmark. Viewers will see him fully clothed as he wears a gray hoodie or shirt with a green chalkboard in the background as he teaches mathematical equations in Mandarin. He already posted over 200 videos and currently has 1.8 million views.
