Walden Bello gives zero Fs to saying ‘FU Marcos’ on live TV
It’s true when people say that you can’t take back what you post on the internet. Other users online could’ve taken a screenshot or shared it with a wider audience. But Vice Presidential aspirant Walden Bello had no holds barred when he cursed Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr during a live broadcast.
During ANC’s After the Fact on October 21, Bello together with his running mate presidential hopeful and labor leader Leody de Guzman had an interview regarding their candidacy.
Bello bluntly expressed his thoughts when the conversation shifted to other politicians running for the 2022 elections, specifically Marcos Jr., ‘This is a family that has raped the country. It has not apologized to the country and he now wants to rape the country again. Fuck you, Marcos!’
Bello addressed the issue of spewing explicit language against Marcos Jr. and stated on his Twitter page that he doesn’t regret it.
Yes, I said "Fuck you, Marcos" on primetime TV. No, I do not regret it.

Good morning (good night here in NY). I'm told that #FuckYouMarcos trended on Twitter and FB.
I'm definitely NOT encouraging everyone to pile on. The devil made me say it.#FuckYouMarcos

Bello continued talking about other presidential candidates and labeled them “jokers.” He called Manila Mayor Isko Moreno “papogi”, and questioned Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson’s claim to stand in the opposition given that he was the principal sponsor and one of the authors of the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020.
When it came to Manny Pacquiao, Bello recalled how the boxer was his co-chair in the Congress for five years, but only showed up once. Meanwhile, the long-time Martial Law adversary said Vice President Leni Robredo is the “only real opposition candidate” aside from De Guzman and himself.
During the interview, the tandem also expressed that they need the support of the Filipinos in order to push legislative and political initiatives. Bello said, ‘We’re not promising the moon, and the sky, and the sun. We’re promising hard work which will involve the citizenry behind our initiatives.’
‘Sabi nga ni [Winston] Churchill nung Second World War, yung statement niya na ‘blood, sweat, and tears,’ ‘yon lang daw maipapangako niya,’ Bello elaborated. ‘Gano’n din ‘yong sinasabi namin ngayon. And that is why I think people see us as genuine, hindi itong mga tarantadong politiko na tumatakbo ngayon kagaya ni Bongbong Marcos, who’s just out for himself.’
