A Cebuana made history as the first Miss International Queen PH

It’s only the third month of the year and the world has witnessed both big and small wins of women. Recently, Fuschia Anne Ravena of Bogo City, Cebu has been crowned as the first-ever Miss International Queen Philippines on March 6.

Ravena is set to represent the country in the Miss International Queen Pageant that will be held in Pattay, Thailand on June 25. The winning beauty queen bested 25 other candidates during the competition at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.

Among the judges were Miss Grand International 2020 First Runner Up Samantha Bernardo, Bb. Pilipinas International 2021 Hannah Arnold, and fashion designer Jojo Bragais.

Ravena expressed her appreciation and excitement on social media. She shared how the past few weeks of the contest have been one of the most difficult phases in her journey. She added, ‘It was a challenge to keep my focus but still, the show must go on and I have to put up a smile, stay strong and have faith in my creator.’

Ravena also, ‘To all the ladies who are equally beautiful, talented and empowered, which turned to a family, we are heard.’

Miss International Queen PH is a subsidiary of Miss International Queen, the largest transgender women pageant. The local selection process serves as the first time that an official pageant and coronation night was carried out to select the country’s candidate.

Other delegates who previously represented the Philippines were Kevin Balot and Trixie Maristela, who bagged the prestigious pageant crown in 2012 and 2015 respectively.
