Presidential candidate VP Leni Robredo and her running mate Sen. Kiko Pangilinan have a number of rallies that made a mark. One of which was Robredo’s birthday rally on April 23 in Pasay City, where Gary and Gab Valenciano performed the catchy Leni-Kiko anthem titled Ang Presidente Bise Presidente.

The track was eventually used to boost the Leni-Kiko campaign through TikTok, artworks, and some memes online. This was first performed in Bataan in the middle of April in an earlier sortie.

On May 1, Pangilinan posted a music video for the song on his official Facebook page. Meanwhile, the over one-minute track can also be streamed on Spotify. It has now garnered over 300,000 streams on the audio platform as of writing.

In the upbeat rap song, Gab raps, ‘Ang Presidente, Leni Robredo, Bise Presidente Kiko Pangilinan,’ with voices from a crowd chanting the names of the candidates. He also mentions the campaign tagline, ‘Gobyernong tapat, angat buhay lahat.’

Gary V a.k.a. Pangilinan’s brother-in-law and Gab have constantly shown their support for the senator’s candidacy. Pangilinan playfully said, ‘Kung ang tatay ni Gab ay si Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano, si Gab naman ay si Mr. Renewable Energy.’

Pangilinan’s platform includes food security and strengthening the agricultural sector, and his top advocacy is prioritizing pandemic assistance programs.
