Chris Evans finally says goodbye to his iPhone 6s
The public most likely has a way of perceiving the lifestyle of A-list Hollywood celebrities – they’re expected to have designer clothes, expensive cars, and maybe the latest tech. But for Chris Evans, having the good old iPhone 6s is not an issue until he recently said goodbye to it.
The actor stated that he upgraded from the nearly seven-year-old iPhone. He shared that he’ll miss the phone’s home button. But he also expressed, ‘I won’t miss the nightly battle of trying to get you to charge. Or your grainy pictures. Or your sudden drops from 100% battery, to 15%, to completely dead all within minutes.’
‘It was a wild ride. Rest easy, pal,’ Evans added on Instagram. His post was accompanied by a photo showing that he seems to have finally switched to iPhone 13. While iPhone 14 is set to come out later this year, it probably wouldn’t be a problem for him given his upgrade habits.

The iPhone 6s can still handle the latest version of iOS, but this will change when iOS 16 is released in September. It’s uncertain if Evans availed of Apple’s battery replacements for his beloved phone in 2016 following its power issues, but either way, he certainly took care of his device.
Even back in 2019, the Captain America star showed that he wasn’t big on modern tech. He said in a tweet, ‘Dear All Technology, Remember the 90’s when you just WORKED???’
‘I don’t need a ‘smart’ feature on my TV, thermostat, lights, music, refrigerator, security cameras, and f-ing car. You’re a major pain in all of our asses. You’re not worth it,’ Evans continued.
