F2F classes are back – and these students are pretty much done

Seeing students out in uniforms makes the past two years feel like a fever dream.

ICYDK: Students returned to campus for the first time in two years for face-to-face classes today, August 22, as per the expected implementation for public and private schools of the Department of Education.

The shift to normalcy expectedly came with mixed emotions, especially for students who have been so used to online classes. Memes hilariously brought to life the anxiety and nerves of this first day.

Starting with this student, who might just be the most accurate representation of everyone in the morning.

The Internet seemed to have found their spirit animal, with one user commenting, “kung ako pinapasok ng 6 pero 9 pa pala klase ko magagalit din ako.”

On the other hand, this little girl seems at the peak of her emotions. Thankfully, her classmate gave her a little pat to ensure all will be okay.

The Internet found the gesture totally adorable, like this student who was totally out of it on her first day.

Her mother playfully captioned, “Okay naman yung first day ng anak ko. Grade 1 palang mukhang pagod na sa buhay.”

The DepEd expects that while blended learning is still allowed, schools nationwide should transition to in-person classes from August to October and expect all schools to implement face-to-face classes by November 2.
