Disney+ is finally headed for the Philippines

The long wait is finally over for Pinoy Disney fans!

Filipinos can start subscribing to the service on November 17

The Internet is overjoyed at Walt Disney Company (Southeast Asia) Ltd’s announcement today that Disney+ will finally be available in the country as reported by Philstar.

We are excited that consumers in the Philippines can soon connect with their beloved characters and brands and enjoy access to some of the world’s most original and iconic stories, told by the world’s most talented creators.” said Senior Vice President and Managing Director of The Walt Disney Company for Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, David Shin.

The streaming platform carries movies and shows from audience favorites Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars. It now also includes content from National Geographic and Star that subscribers will soon have access to.

Not only that, but Disney+ also offers K-drama and K-pop content for Hallyu fans. K-dramas such as the hit ‘Snowdrop‘ which features BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, and ‘BTS: Permission to dance on Stage – LA‘ is accessible through the platform as well.

Subscription starts at159 PHP per month. Interested Disney+ patrons may also register for its pre-launch through its official website.
