‘The Simpsons’ x ‘Death Note’ is a crossover no one thought they needed
Ever wondered what the Simpsons would look like as Anime?
Now, you don’t have to worry!
As part of their Treehouse of Horror Halloween special for Season 34, The Simpsons will showcase their take on the hit anime series ‘Death Note’.
Airing on October 30, 8 PM EST on FOX, the full parody titled ‘Death Tome’ follows Lisa in a dystopian society, mad at the human race for the pollution. “Disguting. The human race is 20 cow farts away from total extinction and we deserve it.”
Something falls from the sky in front of Lisa which happens to be the ‘Death Tome’. She opens it and reads the message inside. “Any person whose name is written in this DEATH TOME will meet their death… and be DEAD.”

Nothing else was spoiled or revealed in the early clip but screenshots of an anime-looking Homer and Marge also made waves on the Internet.
The anime-style illustrations were made by DR Movie, the South Korean studio behind productions such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Teen Titans, and The Batman (The Animated Series).
This year, The Simpson’s annual Halloween-themed episodes will also feature segments on ‘The Babadook’ and ‘Westworld’.
