BTS’ Jung Kook makes history at FIFA
BTS’ youngest member is the first Asian to perform the official anthem of the FIFA world cup
Jung Kook is also the first artist since 1988 (Ricky Martin) to have an official solo track for the global soccer tournament.
It seems that BTS is still booked and busy despite announcing the group’s recent hiatus. The latest addition to their member appearances post announcement is their maknae‘s FIFA debut.
Jung Kook wowed the ARMY and football fans with his FIFA World Cup 2022 opening performance at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, Qatar on Sunday, November 21.
The South Korean singer lit up the stage as he sang the uplifting anthem titled ‘Dreamers’.

The song was first released on November 17 and a music video for ‘Dreamers’ will be dropping on November 23.
The 25-year-old’s solo was produced by RedOne which also features Qatari singer and producer Fahad Al Kubaisa.
Part of the FIFA World Cup Qatar soundtrack includes contributions from Nicki Minaj, Maluma, and many more.
