Upcoming Netflix series ‘Kaleidoscope’ can be watched in any order
This new Netflix heist series can be watched in any order and each combination would give a different angle of the story.
‘Kaleidoscope’ is a non-linear anthology series with eight episodes that you can watch in any order you choose.
Starring Giancarlo Esposito and Jai Courtney ‘Kaleidscope’ airs on Netflix on January 1.
Unlike other shows with a plotted structure, the upcoming series aims to provide a ‘unique immersive experience’ for viewers so they allowed them to choose which episode they want to start with and follow through with next while still creating a storyline that makes sense at the end of the day.
Each of the series’ eight episodes covers incidents between 24 years before the heist to six months after it.
Russell Fine, the show’s Executive Producer said that regardless of the order, all the necessary information needed to piece the story together would be present so viewers would still be able to connect the dots.
Spanning 25 years, the crime series follows a group of thieves who are attempting to rob and break into the most secure vault in the United States and maybe even the world.
With the biggest bounty in store for them should they be successful, of course, challenges would be present and this includes passing through security trained to use lethal weapons to protect the vault and of course, the FBI.
In a report by Lad Bible, show creator Eric Garcia mentions that this is not only a work of fiction but the story is loosely based on a true incident.
After Hurricane Sandy hit, there was a report that over $70 billion worth of bonds got flooded in the basement of the DTCC which required a massive clearing effort by major banks. This incident piqued Garcia’s interest and made him think that this was “a good way to cover up a heist“.
