After calling for PH voice actors a few weeks back, American actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt has a new challenge for Filipino creatives this time around.

The ‘500 Days of Summer’ star took to Facebook to post a dazzling photo of a bangka boat overlooking a pink sky in Donsol, Sorsogon, as he asked people to write a piece based on the image.

‘Looking for people from the Philippines who like to write… know anyone? ‘I need someone to write a sentence or two that tells the story of this beautiful moment in Donsol.’

JGL went on to link his own site HITRecord, where a total of 230 volunteers have shared their work for the photo submitted by a Matt Conley.

The initiative is for the site’s ‘Passport Poems‘ series, which showcases different sceneries from around the world serving as a prompt for writers to send in their pieces.

‘Everyone has photos from their travels. So, in this series, travel photography will inspire pieces of writing that will combine to result in cool pieces of graphic design.’

This isn’t the first that JGL has called for PH volunteers, as he had previously asked Philippines and other countries to record the word ‘poem‘ in their native language for the actor’s ‘Poetry Around the World’ project.
